DESIGN Process
We want to remove the mystery of how you work with a garden designer.
Below we explain each step in the design process so you know what to expect from the entire process.
If we haven’t answered you question then don’t hesitate to contact us
DESIGN CONSULTATION
Our Initial Design Consultation is the first step in turning your ideas into reality.
Working with a designer can help to concentrate on what you’re really after, as well as introduce you to ideas and garden styles you may not have come across before.
Before scheduling a consultation we will send over our Client Questionnare which will provide us with an understanding of your tastes, ideas and requirements. It will also gives us information about your garden such as the orientation and light levels, soil condition, garden dimensions and any current features you like.
The consultation is an in-depth conversation, based on your answers to our client questionnaire, where we will work with you to consolidate the ideas and concepts presented.
We will then present you with a summary of this conversation and make sure you are happy with what was taken away from the meeting.
CONCEPT PLAN
This part of the design process involves the most communication between you and the designer. Here we create to-scale concepts of your new garden, based on the consultation.
You have the chance to go through this design with the designer to tweak the design to your liking and add or remove elements that don’t suit.
When you are happy with this a full 3-D rendering will be created for you to ‘walk around’ your new garden and experience what it will be like.
At this point you can finalise the design and we will begin working on your working plans.
WORKING PLAN
This is the final step in process and we deliver the final plans to you. These plans will allow either yourself or a qualified landscaper to immediately begin implementing the design.
These Plans include:
Finished Garden 3-D Rendering
2-D Working plans with all dimensions for features
2-D To-Scale Lighting Plan
2-D To-Scale Planting Plan
